Fingerprint based examination verification system
Built around a fingerprint sensor module, this project helps examiners check against examination malpractice by allowing examiners verify candidates through their fingerprints. The project can function standalone or tethered to a computer. When tethered to a computer via USB, more features are made available such as ability to record candidate image data along with other data. When operated standalone, the device is battery powered and uses an LCD and keypad for user interaction.

RFID based Digital Student’s ID card
Using Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) we demonstrate how a student’s ID card can be digitized to store information about the student such as Name, Department, Registration Number, Blood group, Height etc. The hardware side of the project reads the card and communicated the data with a computer through USB interface.
Body Temperature and Heart-rate Monitor
A project that enables the monitoring and logging of body temperature and heart-rate of an individual over a period of time while being mobile. Logged data can be read to a computer system later for analysis. Real time monitoring is also possible with this project when it is connected to a computer.
Computerized power monitoring and load shedding system
In this project, a computer monitors the power consumed by an area, once a preset maximum load power is attained, the computer automatically switches a portion of that area to another power source. Once both sources are overloaded, a timing operation is executed to shed the load. This ensures an effective load shedding.
Computerized fire detector with SMS notification
In cases of fire outbreak, this system detects the fire and sends an SMS notification to a remote user or the fire service board, displaying the particular room and the building that is on fire while also sounding an alarm to alert residents of the incident.

Computerized change over system and generator control
A computer system monitors which phase possesses power supply and then automatically switches the mains supply of a home and industry to the appropriate phase. On the event of a blackout, it engages the start and running of the generator. Switching and fault periods are stored by the computer.
Computerized intelligent voting machine
The computer makes this voting machine intelligent by monitoring voters using sensors, eliminating absurd voting inconsistencies, making accurate counts and delivering a full detail report of valid and invalid votes.
Computer interfaced 3 phase monitor and control
The computer monitors the voltage levels in a 3phase power supply and determines the appropriate working voltage of any three phase equipment to be used before switching the voltage into the equipment. This prevents damage to the equipment. A USB interface is used for data transmission and control.
